The pairs seen roughly correspond to those indicated in the map on the preceding page (page 9). 7 July Barrow, Alaska Several birds seen again in the vicinity of A.H.S. Pairs were not noted today, but the aerial display was heard three times. Molt in flowing was noted in all birds seen. A chase was noted along the meadowridge between the two frog lines. It was accompanied with the aerial display. The pair was seen at 1502 by P. Keller in the same area. 8 July Barrow, Alaska A chase was seen in the old area where one bird had moved into another territory (caused by the presence of a Snowy Owl) and was immediately closed out. On the aggressor's return, he gave his full flight display. The chased bird displayed landing
