2 July Barrow, Alaska
churring ear - almost as low + grating as
alba + De at times - it may be high-
pitched like variati. A certain amount
of the variation is found in few
individuals - but is more extreme +
slightly more noticeable between individ.
1 July - continued. At nest #5 when I returned at 1900 -
two young + 1 piping egg were: The nest cap - 1
young had moved off. At this time - There
was no evidence of the egg-shell
fragment which must be removed
within hour after hatching.
3 July A Q was collected on Beach Ridge - Near The
Black Box (due So. of AACS) - with 3 collapsed
follicle + love ab 7mm - Apparently having
one more egg to lay.
A family group of 2 Adults (♂ + ♀) +
at least 2 two-day old young were noted
No. 57 UPHS Area. The ♂ & ♀ (which were
collected). The Q continued to swi As
val val - vol or in creasing BZEEET -
as she flew excitedly from 1 place to
another - Then as we drove off - As were
she followed for twenty five
hundred yards.
