Flight - over trail. 2 eggs. I was
were pipping.
1 July - Nest #2 with 4 eggs - no pipping - I left nest
when I was 60' away - trilled & landed
20' away - never came closer.
Nest #5 - 8 flew off when I was 100'
away - trilled over - landed. - 1 from 1 1/2'
cut 1 cup, 2 - cup, 1 egg - no pipping yet. (1328). The 8 stood away giving an
occurring rat, rat, rat - or - BREEET alarm
a disturbance note.
No other birds or displays seen here today.
2 July 1960 - Nest #5 - 3 young + 1 egg just beginning
to hatch [i pipped]. 8 flew off - gave tree -
(landed - continued wet the rat, rat, rat.... - see p.37
2 July All nest - plot trees wannigan were active
were being incubated. For more passerines
localizer: The plot - but nest were not yet
located. - See census sheets.
Distraction displays
Nest #9: when 10' away - The bird flew up toft -
1-2' off the ground - (landed 160' to 180') - gave
trill just before landing. Stood there + gave
Sweet rat-rat - Sequencer 2 The fleeoff
given trill - several times. This event
seems happened earlier when I went by
with camera.
