Holmes,R 1962 26 Erolia algina 14 June Barrow Alaska One bird nearly in display. Gave long drawn out trill cubital product with pitch lasted for at least 30 sec. No sound was very semi-pl-like note Yesterday - a bird was seen with set V wings given the tree-glider swiftly & landing - with both wings up. It walked several feet with then wing up, the lowered them, ran 10' across a broom & then 2 timber behind it - raised both wings to 60° - tail & primaries down - mounted & copulated around with a wild beaten wings & protruded the experiment Then he jumped off - took the air - a fine display Flypt. One of piteos 10 bird seen showed more premieres. 15 June Nest found atzy Beoch Ridge - W. 17, 4 barrels - with 4 eggs - Pte 80 male was incubating - gave relatively 5 long distractive display - with tail depressed & spread - body feathers ruffled - wings were in molt.
