[illegible] - seemed like counter-singing -
both birds were not displaying at the same moment - nor were they in close proximity - at least 200 yards away.
Late - 2 birds were chattering by Arctic
erratic flyby - pásza through two
hurricanes! - each of grobby up to chase!
One (with set V wings) - freed & then
turning both & given Mr. Churing -
Hill before landing. Finally, the chosen
bird landed - apparently in his territory -
& remained in the alert posture - giving
a harsh, grating, 'breeep, breeep, ...' & acting
very excited. This was given continuously
for 2 min - then a trill - then more of the
same. The bird flew up displayed 1st at
15' - then swift rapid wing beat - move
up to ~60' - horned m down curved wings
when we quivered Napeal - the bird
stuck - The ground approach - given by
kraa, kraa. After 3 min - the bird was
given in the hand set it away &
spunster down to the ground - when
he beat his wings perfectly up 2 sec.
After hovering, then sat normal
posture. The flight is not unusually
ended until the bird is standing & holding wings
