5 June - Several displaying birds seen along The 5th
Road - as well as 2 flocks (8 + 13) - one near
Uphill Area - one on the high ground S.W. of Br. Hm's
Area. No aggressiveness or displaying was
seen among members of the flock - all fed
together - flushed at the same time - only
The cawl note was given. A male displaying
bird flew in & landed among the group -
flapped his wings - giving a loud trill.
It then landed - both wings were held
up for about 6 sec. - The lowered tail
normal position - but head was held
high. The one wing was raised along
the shell was given when the wing was
vertical - this was directed toward
one member of the flock (both 837); another
bird flapped off a few feet thereafter
