30 may BARROW, ALASKA
-both were into a aerial chase. The whole flock flew - all chasing & pulling.
One peeled off & beg the Shells wingbeat -
& gave the kraa,kraa. It appeared to be a flock of 278 - which are yet unsettled.
The heron rod, rod, rod, to give on the ground - when it must be alarmed - it may The turn into a krae, krae - of the aerial display.

landed, keeping both wings at rt. &
with the ground & gave a curve while.
The folded wings & began speeding.
Suddenly - it gave several kraa's &
walked up behind a feeding bird (? ?)
raised one wing to 90° - (Bird was facing
& not h ?) & gave seven
more kraa's as it walked behind that bird.
Finally the bird flew off for about 18' - &
not birds resumed feeding.
Pairs seen near Drift Hen's Area, near both;
Arise, across from Damuslu site (VOL) & on
Sout shore / Vol creek, just beyond
Renoli Gate & on the Bluff along the
sweet spot / Fortymile Lake. Numerous
Aerial displays were heard during the day.
