watched feeding as follows.
30 sec. - 30 peck-probes - 6' at edge

In our cases full probe meant De head
ever put underwater. Weather bright -
Sunny. Time 1500-1515.
10 July More Observation in Reservoir as above,
excepting 2 birds present - 4 feeding.
1430 - bird feeding in 2' (water)
120sec - 58x - head lifted but probe sure
made 4-8x (m=5) probed down -
