9 July Barrow, Heslo
The Nest n. No. B.R. along the
wood was still intact - but the bur
was slim - Domeculator. Another
pair was noted just as the road
works. The try 1 on B.R. - maybe
a nest nearby. None were seen
between the B.R. + Osm - Wohl - 305-
log Area.
Flocks of 3, 3, +4 were seen NtW
of Voth's Area + just last (Traplin-
1VAT+B - There were all concentrated
around mud-bottom ponds). One
group was collected - 2079, 14. There
appeared to be non-breeders. or those
who had quit - some all hold brood
patches.
10 July
A pair watched - a & gave a leathodon
display - as I collected her chicks. They
showed no concern + flew off
after ~ minute ~ so - are these specific
Breeding? - Another group of 3
birds were seen feeding in a block-mud
pond (2' mud exposed at edge) - near Voth's
Area.
13 July
2 family groups encountered between
Wohl. + Colepik Sloughs. Only
1 adult was present - 2 chicks, 1 cm
