Holmes, R 1960 27. Erolia alpina 28 July Barrow, Alaska Only 2 groups were encountered during my travels in Voth's Area + vicinity. One group consisted of 3 young + 2 adults, all of which were feeding in a marshy-muddy area NE ? Voth's area. The young were flying. The adult had nearly completed their wing molt, but the body molt was still under way on the back. They were in neutral molt or weak molt. The second group consisted 1 3 flying juveniles and 2 adults (790-793). 29 July Barrow, Alaska Only 1 family group was encountered east of the Beach Ridge. It consisted 1 1 Ad. and 4 flying young (see 795- 797). One other adult was seen. 30 July Barrow, Alaska Only 2 individuals were seen in Voth's Area. One was an adult ♀; the other a flying juvenile. They were not seen together, and I do not believe that they are part of the same family. This area near Voth's Due is stagnant so show signs of depletion, as is now quite difficult to find
