August 18 4 mi.E. Tehuantepec, Oaxaca, Mexico
Found pairs spaced throught their forest. Distance apart
20+ yards. & & singing. One seen singing in top of 20
foot tree. Was slightly above surrounding canopy & exposed.
Young
John reported that young bird collected today
came up from ground after 2 of 3 adult-plumaged
birds were collected. Apparently young of this species
out of the nest ride on or run ground in dense cover.
Perhaps do some foraging for themselves.

2 birds collected of 3 with jws. proved to be & +
imms. ?. Appears as if young greater nesting alltogether
in adult plumage stay with parents during 2nd brood.
Not sure if they contribute to raising 2nd brood.
