Songbird
20+ foot tree when begins singing. Female flies & then drops to ground on SE side. Works on ground in & around shrub thicket while
♂ sings.

squeal
Squawking flock
1000 - up to 5+ foot lower branches of tree just across fence. ♂ flies down & squeals. ♀ facing ♀ & flicking left wing vigorously. Then both to ground
solo squeal
1002 - ♂ 6 up into main crotch of 6 foot shrub when sings. then (20 sec later) flies 5+ yds. to SW when squeals. Female appears 4-5 feet to SW & closes ♂ (who is 5-6 feet up on horizontal branch - arend). She flies to NE followed by ♂ + squeal.
squeals
1005 - squeal - both sexes participating & then squeals at 1006 & 1007.5. After last squeal note one bird 3-4 feet up in small shrub & then drops to ground.
hum + squeal
1009 - Squeal by pair 6 - well hidden from view in shrub thicket.
Then churr starts followed at 1010 by long churr squeal.
squeals
1013 - pair of pairs 6 churring - 1015 - squeal. Followed by more churring.
then another squeal at 1016. Churring stopped at 1018 & was followed by 2 squeals given 5-10 sec. apart.
perch / forget song
0925 - 0941 - ♂ singing from canopy of tree 6+ feet up. then drops to ground & continues to sing - less frequently - while foraging three weeds up to 2 feet tall, moves up into small shrub where sings several times & then drops back to ground near lava fence. Near start of squeal off to W & ♂ flies over singing once just after arriving. Then churring & another ♂ singing followed by what sounds like a chase. Then ♂ & ♂ come to edge of thicket & sings hidden in foliage. then flies to SE to tree (8' tall)
