0940 - #1 singing again XXXX IIII ends at 0942.
singing from area of yesterday's nest
0942 - #2 singing to SE - prob. across road.
0942.5 - #1 starts again - XXXX IIII ends at 0944.
0945 - heard 2 continuous songs then #1 started - also can
hear #2 apparently across road. #1/#2 counter-
singing apparently separated by about 100 yards. #1 from
160-200 yards NE of nest flies back in 2 jumps to near shrub
clamp. Both birds then quiet at 0950.
0951 - #1 singing - #2 sings once - #1 sounds like
soft song perhaps I in nest-building again.
0953.5 - bird (prob. #) down to ground at base of pine
30-40 feet NE of shrub clump.
1010 - heard one continuous song from #1. Then silent again.
1011 - #1 singing //

1012 - #1 up into bay near shrub. sang once loudly.
1015 - changed perch upward + different twig after 2 soft songs.
Changed again at 1017. Again at 1018 - hidden foot
2 soft songs by 1020. Perch size progressed from < 1/4" to 1/4" to
1" over initial perch + 1st two changes.
1023.5 - two continuous songs + two regular songs by #1.
#2 gave at least one song followed by several more from #1.
