LWoff 1963 Amphile suffeeps Dec. 17 & pairs were spotted then suggests permanent pair bond + winter territories. Dec. 20 Melino Basin, Sta. Catalina Mts, Pima Co., Arizona - Family group of 4-5 or forruitano group - see journal. Called heard today were "dear dear" + "fjeet?" Thought once heard a pair reunion duet, but could not find the birds. John Tramontana reported seeing a pair + hearing a duet just after they flew into a nearby bush. - not positive of details, identification probably solid. Collected three birds - 2 immature (blull?) males and an adult female.
