Boykin Springs, Jasper Co., Texas. several more times then to shrub. sang 3 lines. 0633.5 - flew to nest, sang soft song once, 0634- flew to shrub, sang 4 times. 0635. flew directly to nest. sat nest for [illegible] 40 sec. silent. flew out to another small pine where stopped momentarily then to shrub. sang 3 times. 0637- flew to nest at far 50 sec. sang 5 times. then flew directly to shrub songs 11 flight is nearly direct w slight undulations - wing beat slightly irregular + fluttery. Slight tail pumping. 0638.5- flew directly to nest songs 1 0639.3- flew to small pine "2 to shrub. - chipped softly. songs 1 0641- flew to shrub. 2 sharp tzchib notes on way. songs 11 flew at tip of shrub (18" long, 20 feet up) 150 feet forward. 0643.5- flew directly to nest with grass trailing 4-6 inches behind her. songs 1 - 35 sec. flew back to shrub sings 11 0645- flew down to nest. song 1 (soft) 0645.5- flew to 1/2 way tree with soft chip on landing. To see fetus flew on with several soft chips. lifted his perch. 0648- flew up to 1/2 way small pine - 2 soft chips + then to shrub - more chrips. 0649.5- flew down to nest one sharp chip 1/2 way to nest. at nest for 55 sec. flew out with several sharp chips lit in 1/2 way pine. chipped loudly flew on to shrub.
