Cañon de Lobos
0613 - located pair #1 near road. one flushed from ooz near
ground into small shrub. Other nearby. Area is Acacia +
6-8 foot tree dominated. Trees are 2nd growth from recent cutting.
Gives nearly closed level at ~ 5 feet.
Watched birds foraging from ground up to about 7 feet. Most
of 4+ minutes watched were at less than 4 feet. Dropped
down to ground for only short intervals + then back up into
lower branches. Low foraging height due to height of shrubs.

sounded as if spluttering.

foraging in canopy 10+ feet above ground. using bar perches
pecking into leaves. moves by hops from perch to perch. Also sit
in leaf clusters but still lands on small bar portions of twigs.
