At 60° L. with horizontal where bird is perched. song flight begins with fluttery, rapid wing flight up nearly to apex, then stall + tail spreads as wings are outstretched. turn downward to glide back to perch with tail spread; flutter just before landing. can see light veins on outer tail feathers where tail spread. bird sitting perched shows head dark brown in marked contrast to greayer color of back, head richer brown than dark brown of tail. 0655 - flight song from #3 to over my head at # 5. then heard to SW 30-40 yds. then flight song back to #3. song flight color
