Got it times dropped to grass for 30+ sec., then immediately back to singing with song flight to perch. while I was recording he used almost exclusively perch #1. I wather much closer to #3 while now am beneath #5. 0648 - to grass for 30± sec. (recording only breaks in singing.) 0651 - drops to grass for 20±sec. back to song perch #3 with song flight. 0654.5 - to grass for 20± sec. (wg # 4.) flight song to #8. then to 9 0655 - from perch #9 to #3 with flight song. 0659 - flight song to #10 ; then flight song toward #8. 0706 - to grass near #3. 0707.5 - to #3 with flight song. 0712 - to #11 with flight song. This perch is nearly vertical with angle at top so provides 60° perch. ([illegible]) other wise most perches are horizontal or nearly so. back to #3 with next flight song. 0716 - flight song to #7 where performed 2 consecutive perch songs followed by a flight song. 0718 - after quiet for 1+ min. flight song back to #3. winds beginning to pick up. noted (072) more fluttering at top of song than usual. To check in gust of winds.
