0645- unable to locate pair #1. Walked down road 75 yds to E to where #3 giving flight song. As I approached bird flew across road to W continued ~ for 50+ yds. then turned W for 20-30 bringing it into what I thought was fire.#3
0652- #3 gave chitter flight song from terr.#5 - 100 yds S of road, so #3 then gave chitter flr song 10 yds W of road. Lit on ground at edge of little dong road.
0710- bird flew from 100 yds from road (#5) to SE corner of terr.#1. Sat in top of mesquite thine to base of mesquite 10yds closer to road, forased in shadows of mesquites & out on open lane ground. Then flew toward road but blocked from view.
A bird then seen in top of 7' mesquite across road. Heard chipping & bird flew to NW. Met two others - one which he chased + other dropped down in grass. Chase was for 40-50 yds in weaving pattern ending along edge of road where leading bird stopped out ground in little, #3 thus fluttered to nearby 3' hackberry giving chitter song. This flew g when 3rd bird disappeared. A bird possibly #3 + maybe bird initially from area #5 flew from N to S side of road. Flew across east edge g #1 to 100 yds from road when parked in top of 6' hackberry. A second bird flew across giving soft chittering - not song & so in area #3 gave flight song & flew to NW + turned W toward area #4.
0721- #3 came from third bird had landed toward road gave chattering flight song & lit ~30 yards from road in 2' hackberry. Then disappeared.
