0750 - flushed ♀ from 50 feet farther east. Flies off to NW where heard chitter series, then soft chips, then several soft chitters series. ♀ with food in bill flies into top of hackberry near where I flushed young chirped sharply, then flew east to drop at base of mesquite. Flight not as jerky as when going short distances.

Bird disappeared & then chittered. Flight song just towards ending in hackberry. Is this a ♀ performance ?? or singing 75-100 yards to N.
