Collected on from 8 - young bird of different sizes one much younger than other (or smaller). feathers (flight) sprouting from sheaths on older. Sheaths only about 1/2 gone on younger. nest # 2 - egg + young gone - mob. predators, adults not evident while we measured nest. nest # 8 - on ground in slight depression in area of crab grass. placed near apex but under longest grasses of gooseyana within 3 feet. faced to NW.
