0926- ? So good singing. Adult flies into perch #2 from E- chirping then into perch #3- at tip of grape leaf.
chitter / 0929- ? flies over to #4 & gives rapid series of chitter notes. ?
song report then flies from west into #1. I watch food back to #3. ? chirping in #1 & starts singing as ? in ten. ?ow begins singing from top of 7 foot mesquite.
continues song 0931- ? flies over to #1 where ? singing & gives occasion chitter.
0933- ? from (forest?) & ? sitting in #1 & singing continuous song. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . pause

fringe 0947. ?'s good song for 2+ minutes, then heard several sharp chips from edge of grass on N side of road. Watched adult foraging them until 0952. Moved by hopping forward exact car where moving very rapidly. Generally stayed 7-6" out from bases of grass clumps. Ground essentially bare except for stems of composites. Once reached up & picked insect (grasshopper?) about 6" above ground on composite stem. Then but into grasses to other side of 1st clumps. Flew back to banana & began foraging again. Twice heard grasshoppers. Flew into grass & dropped down again among bunch grasses. Reappeared in .5-10 sec & flew 10yds N to #1 when chirping. ? flew into #2 (apparently from nest) where sat preening for short time. When ? flew over to #4 ? flew to NE to land in bunch grass. ? then dropped down & flying up & into nest.
