Driving along John Heard sparrows chirping by stone fence.
Proved to be two Azara's + one A. ruficauda facing
each other + separated by 6-8 inches - chirping excitedly.
As I approached Botteri's flew into grazed field +
ruficauda flew into trees along stone fence. When
further pursued it flew into brush along gully + hid
against bank. Could see it hopping back & forth in
vegetation.
Finally collected 2 Botteri Sparrows in tree in another
small gully. One flushed into free from ground nearby
just before I shot.
