Birds singing at various locations throught 2nd growth woods. watched fluttering juvenile being fed a 1-inch green lepidopteran larva by an adult. young slightly above adult on different branch. Song - ... I first note soft + usually not heard. generally sounds like ti, ti ti ti ti ti chuuweee Birds seen foraging in foliage of trees & shrubs from tops of 25-ft trees to 2± feet up in shaded shubby areas. Adult collected yesterday had mostly insect remains in the stomach with one large (6-7mm dia) seed.
