an adult ♂ (1920) was molting in following way:
breast + sides - orangish pin feathers
back - mid- to rump - pin feathers.
primaries 1-4 new #4 2/3 grown 5-9 old.
rectrices - ♂1-3 - new - sheathed #4-6 - old.
bird was slightly fat
July 9 Lady Bug Saddle, Graham Mts., Graham Co., Arizona
#1954 - met primaries 1-4 new #4 just sheath - 5-9 old.
rectrices - 3-6-old. #1 sheath #2 missing
pin feathers on: back, rump, sides, breast, clissum.
