LL Wolf 1963 Pokiophila melanura July 12 18 mi. N El Oasis, Sonora, Mexico. pair feeding 3/4 gram cowbird in acocinte parkland with some ocotillo. July 16 27 mi. S. Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico km. 1812. Watched pair go to old nest in epiphyte clump in a legume tree. Nest 10 feet up + near center of clump. First noted as & went to clump, hooted & flew away. & fugged at nest several times from several angles & carried away a bill full of nesting material. found 3/4 complete nest in direction she flies. had some lichen on outside but cup not completed in or parts of cotton.
