LWolf 1963. Aegyparis flaviceps June 25 0.6 mi N Benson Hwy. Wilmot Rd. Tucson, Pima Co., Arizona begging juvenile sitting 1/3 way up in 7 foot mesquite. gape is still yellow, bird seen to beg w/ wing fluttering. Only fed once by adult while I watched. Could fly as well as adults. June 26 - same locale still feeding young. It can fly as well as adults, but still begs. Gape yellow. Many empty nests in the area. Probably were several pairs in area where I watched before- wings.
