LL Wolf 1963 Thryothorus pleurostictus August 7 2 mi SE Aguan de Matawos, Puebla, Mexico species fairly common in pairs in thorn woodland on hillsides above Pan American highway. Found nest 5 1/2 feet up at end of branch of legume tree 10 feet tall. Nest entirely of grasses + weed stems - all dead. X-sec. Flushed adult from nest so probably incubating, but unable to reach contents. Nest ~ 12" below a U- shaped wrap nest. Birds collected today were all very worm.
