LLWOLF 1963 Cyanocorax dickeyi July 21 9 mi. E. Santa Lucia, Sinaloa, Mexico El Batel #2847 central rectrices - 3/5 grown. #2 prim - all sheathed. primaries 1 & 2 - grown and #3 - 3/4 #4 just erupting rest old. secondaries #1 - 1/3 grown rest old. 2° coverts (greater) - sheathed at base. pin feathers on dorsal, breast, + thighs. iris yellow. juvenile had dark cream irides. John said there were at least 11 in the flock from which he took seven. According to the fellow who showed John the locale, each flock the birds remain flocked all year + can always be found in a restricted area.
