LLWolf 1963 Crotophaga sulcirostris August 14 3 miles cost of Tehuantepec, Oaxaca, Mexico. Near narrow trail thru thorn forest found nest of Ani 8 feet up in Thorn tree. Nest is bulky & made of coarse sticks lined with green leaves. Contained 5 chalky white eggs. August 17 2 1/2 miles E. Tehuantepec, Oaxaca, Found 2 Ani nests today. One 6 foot up - again lined with green leaves & contained eggs. Another 3-3 1/2 feet up in Thorn tree - set in crotch at main trunk. Tree not yet full. This nest contained 7 young which were just beginning to be feathered.
