LLWxF 1963 72 Journal August 28 Tuesday Arizona to 20 mi. S. Kramer Set, mlk. 395 Calif. Left at 0830 after checking Wilmot Rd. locality for Cassius Spanners. Could find none. Did find a family group - 2 ad. + 1 juns. - of Bayour wings Spaniels. As expected they must have started breeding soon after we left Tucson in mid-July. Drove to Phoenix + then east on R60-70. Turned north at San Bernardino, Calif. + took R395 toward R766. Stopped for night on road leading off R395 to east. To bed after writing journal.
