hollow Page 1. Acc #4053 Ovis canadensis Dec. 1-1932 - 11 miles south-east Pocatello, alt. 5200 ft. Bannock Co. Idaho. Cat. #699 is part of the skull of a Mountain Sheep ? - a pickel, found along the west fork of Mint Creek, near the Bannock Ranger Station, by Edward Leonard. He has brought it to me direct from the field. It was soil laden and filled and has very likely been buried a good while. If it proves to be canadensis, it is the first definite evidence shown of their occurrence in the Pocatello region.
