purposes. This man dynamited
the dam, with a great deal of
destruction to fish but no
beaver were reported killed.
The beaver did not repair this
dam in the fall and Mr.
Barrett later burned it out.
This burning removed most of
the supporting timber from
the back side of the dam.
On this date, June 11, 1932,
the beaver were repairing this
big old dam some and had
quit a quantity of water backed
up above it. It was holding
about half of its original capacity.
