Thomson. Sept. 24 - 1932 - 8 mi. S. Dillon, Bannock Co. - 4700 ft. We arrived at the locality about 11:00 A.M. and started a search for gopher evidence. Five sets were made in an irrigated alfalfa field. I walked about 3 miles along the bottom lands of Black Creek then irrigated fields mostly, but found no other evidence of gophers. Two specimens, #s 664 - 665 were taken. They are probably T. bridgieri. Oct. 1 - 1932 - 20 mi. S.E. Pocatello - Camp Lundy, Bannock Co. - Ida. - 6300 ft. 20 traps were used in 10 sets along the creek bottom of the East fork of French Creek, in the vicinity of this locality. Eight individual gophers were taken over period of 30 hours. Two specimens, #s. 694 - 695 were saved. That the mountain weed, Mel. aurantiaca, feeds on this gopher was proved by an interesting catch from this set of traps. Two Mc Cabe traps were being used in each set,
