Shenandoah April 16 - 1929. Arnold Richmond brought in 4 shrews from 4 miles south of town as follows: No. 54. ♂ Weight 3 64 grams. Weight stomach + contents 69 grams, contents green grass pulp; no dry seed evidence. No. 5'5 ♀ Wt. 3 56 grams. Wt. Stomach + contents 65 grams. Stomach contents - green pulp. Embryos: Marks in uterus of seven (7) extremely lately born. Mammary glands active. Cat. No. 5'6 ♀ Wt. 3 07 grams. w.t. stomach + contents ; 38 grams. contents ; green pulp. Embryos: 5'; crown-rump length, 13mm. Cat. No. 5'7 ♀ Wt. 2 51 grams. w.t. stomach & contents . 37 grams. stomach contents ; green pulp. Embryos: 5'; not yet formed distinct uterine bulbs; very small.
