Wood Chuck April 14. 1929. A student collected a large female - cat.# 53. length 550 m.m. the mammary glands active. 4 pectoral - 6 inguinal ; no embryos. April 17; 1929. A student brought a young chewen from vicinity of Smith Creek. cat.# 62. ♀ no embryos; mammary gland not active. length 490 m.m. April 25: 1929, Student brought a large female from rock slides - about 4 miles south of Pretello; length 5'30 mammary glands active; no embryos.
