with a flash light.
On this vicinity there are
three mine tunnels extendi
100 ft or more into the side
hills, and all three within 1/4
mile of each other. No bats
have been taken in one, only
one in the second, and deepest,
about (500 ft) and the remaining
ten in the third tunnel. Th
one opens to the south in a
narrow canyon. The deep
tunnel opens toward the
north where snow never melts
