Field Trips. 8 miles South Bannock, alt. 4700 ft. Bannock Co. Idaho. Sept. 24 - 1932. At this location there is a Group of warm springs in the Marsh Creek valley. I arrived at the springs at 11:00 A.M. in company with 3 boys. We scouted the cultivated fields for a distance of on mile on either side of the springs for evidence of gophers. Ten traps were set, and two skimmers taken - #5 667- 665. About three hours were spent at the springs collecting Garter snakes, leopard frogs, young bull frogs and bull frog Tadpoles. Many adult bull frogs were noted but none collected. The springs feed a shallow- marshy pond about 200 yards long and 50 to 100 yards wide. We returned to Pocatello late in the afternoon.
