Barrett's Ranch.
Specimens - Made two new sets.
Placed 13 mouse traps at top of divide for Zapus.
Made further beaver observation from 6:30 to 7:30 P.M.
Also placed 12 mouse traps in Microtus runs just below [illegible]
upper beaver dam.
- Saturday, June 11, we examined the beaver dams just below Barrett's ranch and made a careful search for the striped ground squirrel reported in that vicinity.
Total catch:
7 Zapus - # 608; 609; 617; 618; 619; 620.
one immature not saved.
5- Microtus - # 612; 613; 614; 615; 616.
1- Water Shrew - # 610.
1- Lucky Shrew - # 611.
2- Bats # 621; 622.
1 Striped Ground Squirrel - Skull only.
