albino Mouse June 9-1932. A white mouse, collected April 24, 1932, by Mr. Swesey, on his fur farm five miles north of Pocatello was brought to me by a student, Jack Blair. Jack didn't know much about the details so today I drove out and talked to Mr. Swesey about the specimen. He reported that he first saw it while cleaning up a hill of wheat straw which had lain in front of a hen house all winter. Later he saw the mouse in the hen house, and finally trapped it there. He saved it, but Jack Blair happened along in time to bring it to me before it died. Several common house mice were trapped in this same building, but no other white ones were seen. No Peromyscus were ever taken in the hen house.
