Trip to Camp Leroy. June 7, 8, 9. /958. Weather clear; warm bright days. Shorthorned Lizards. Very abundant in near vicinity of buildings; several meeting under buildings. Paul Rider, Edward Hamlin, Clifford Miller and myself made up party. Eighteen specimens were taken with large snap traps during daylight hours; about half adults and half young ranging from 6 1/2 to eight inches in length. Pocket Gopher. Nine traps were placed 8 P.M. June 7. Two specimens taken at sundown. Traps were left in same setting and three specimens taken by 11 A M June 9.; clear weather. Rimoe and working very common on steep hill sides and round knuckles.
