March 13 West End of Elk Valley, Marin County, California.
Last night I set out 80 snap traps. This morning out
of 19 mammals caught, only 1 was a shrew-mole. Traps
were set around Juncus in freshwater marsh. Other
species caught included; Sorex, Microtus, Peromyscus and
Reithrodontomys.
