WEST end of Elk Valley, Marin County, California.
Last night I set out 80 snap traps in fresh water marsh.
None were caught by 7:30 a.m. By 12-noon I had caught
one shrew. Other species of mammals caught included:
Microtus, Reithrodonmys, Peromyscus and Neurotrichus.
