Transcription
Mitchel Corners, then N on Black Canyon Rd (towards Cima). About 4 miles north of Mitchel Corners/ Black Canyon Rd intersection took dirt Rd NW towards Basaltic cliffs. Followed this Rd in for about 1/2 mile & set-up camp. Walked 200 traps upto 3600 ft. We arrived at $ 1730 & rapidly placed out 4 lines of 40 traps and one line of 20 traps. The 4 trap lines fanned out from the dirt Rd towards the cliffs, while the single line paralleled the road. Line A ran N 285°W & was N 8°E of pt A, Line B ran N 290°W & was N 8°E of pt A, Line C ran N 318°W & was N 10°E of pt A, Line D ran N 313°W & was N 18°E of pt A, Line E ran S 158°E & was N 60°E of pt A. These lines were specially arranged as follows. From this site there is an alluvial fan that runs up to Basaltic cliffs which rise about 1000 ft to a plateau which extends NW to the peaks of the presidence Mt's. Several small & medium washes ran
