"This small (~40 gm) K-rat appears to be associated with vegetation. It seeks cover at the edge of and within shrubs. Burrow openings tend to be intimately associated with shrubs. All burrows we saw entered were at the base of or in shrubs.
2) This small K-rat has short leaps when compared to larger K rats.
