Calif., 10 Oct 1988 1) This subspecies is much larger and heavier than the D. p. mohavensis subspecies is at Walker Pass. 2) The sex ratio at this site was 11♂:2♀ 3) The vegetation is thick overall with patches of open more suitable habitat. Joshua trees are replaced by [illegible], thus this site is elevationaly and ecologi- cally higher than walker pass. Though it also shows that pinyon pine woodland will not present dispersal barrier to this species so long as some of the
