Villalobos 1992 Remsey 30 Oct Only collected 4. Did note that of the #7 35 their may be 2 color morphs: about 3/4 dark (ie black hairs on white lateral tail stripe), and about 1/4 lighter, more typical tularensis 6 Nov Trapping for D. californicus went to 1.6 mi. N. and 0.5 mi. W. Remsey, Yolo Co. Calif., 800 ft. This area is a small public (open) parcel between 2 Ranches. Where Cache Creek loops North then South at the border between sections 12 and 7, there is a jeep trail up into the next canyon W. of Benjamin Canyon. Nearly a 1/2 mile from the Cache Creek at a steep hillside of Thick and about 4 ft tall stand of Chanise, I set 15 traps @ 10 pace intervals (line A), 7/10 mile up the jeep trail at the crest of the second EW running ridge I set 5 traps (line B). Signs of Dipos were present, but not abundant. I walked on up to the head of this canyon + set 20 traps on the E facing slope (across the ravine from the trail) between 1000 + 1200 feet. This
