Reithrodonomys megalotis
Seven specimens of this species taken in Strawberry Canyon,
0.6 mi. W. of stadium of U. of C., Berkeley. All were on a south-facing slope covered
with bunch grass and annuals. At one point seepage of water permitted the
only green grass in the area. Four individuals were taken in a 10' radius
here. nos. 846-151 (2nd specimen not preserved.)
