Continued north to road to San Rafael Bridge approaches, 2 mi. E. of San Rafael, at 8:05 AM. Tide in, few ducks close by. Canvasbacks 40+ (other softs further out) Killdeer 3 Coot 6 Bonaparte's Gulls 9 other gulls Cared Grebe 2 unidentified Ruddy Ducks 25 (other further out) American Egret 1 Snowy Egret 5 Ternum Bird. Took road toward Tiburon, 1/2 mi. E. of Rt. 101 at 8:50 AM. Canvasbacks 70+ Horned Grebe 1 Peeps Pintail 40+ Greater Scaup 12+ Killdeer Ruddy Duck 30+ Western Gull gulls resident. Mallard 10+ Short-billed Gull Baldpate 10+ American Egret Snoweller 6 0+ Least Blue Heron 1 Willet 4 Brant's Cormorant 1 Western Grebe 2 Meadowlark Cared Grebe 1 Brown's Blackbirds Along shore of Richardson's Bay 3/4 from Rt. 101 at 9:40 AM.
