Oct. 4 Sagehen Creek to Sierra Valley and to Berkeley, Calif. Up early this A M & pick up traps in the Sierra Valley, I got to the first locality along the road (1.2 mi. E, 1.0 mi. N Calpine) and found one T. botae from the sets on the E side of road. Got 2 more T. monticola on the other side of the road. Continued on to the locality half a mile off the main road (1.2 mi. N, 0.9 mi. E Calpine) and got 4 T. monticola. The third locality (3.5 mi. N, 1.8 mi. E Calpine, Plumas Co.) yielded one T. botae from the meadow in the sagsbrush and a T. monticola from lower down in the stream bottom. Returned to Sagehen Creek. After lunch returned to Berkeley with Johnny and Lorraine Burns. Home by 5:45 PM.
